Spring Cocktails
Cocktails are a lovely way to kick off any spring evening. Serve these drinks garnished with our dried fruit (available at select BWS & Dan Murphy's Stores) as an aperitif with our Sourdough Crackers.
G & T
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 30mls Gin
- Fever Tree Tonic
METHOD:
Build in a tall glass, top with ice and Silver Tongue dehydrated Lime Wheel to garnish. **Use fresh garden herbs of your choice as extra garnish if desired.
Amaretto Sour
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 60ml Amaretto
- 30 ml Lemon Juice
- 15ml Sugar Syrup
- 2-3 drops of wonderfoam ( avail through only bitters)
METHOD:
All ingredients into cocktail shaker, top with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
Strain into a short rocks glass, top with fresh ice and a dash of angostura bitters. Top with a maraschino cherry and Silver tongue dehydrated orange wheel
Old Fashioned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 60mls Bourbon
- 5mls Sugar Syrup
- 3 dashed angostura bitters
METHOD:
Place ingredients into a stirring glass, top with ice and stir for about 1 minute or until diluted to your taste.
Place an iceball into a rocks glass. Strain onto iceball and top with Silver tongue dehydrated orange wheel. **Smoke with applewood and hickory woodchips using any good food smoking gun for extra showbiz.
Cosmo
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 45mls Vodka
- 15 mls Triple Sec
- 30mls Cranberry Juice
- 20mls Fresh Lime Juice
METHOD:
All ingredients into cocktail shaker, Top with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Fine Strain into a martini glass, top with Silver tongue dehydrated orange wheel. ** Flame Orange Rind for extra showbiz
Margarita
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 45mls Tequila
- 15mls Cointreau
- 30mls Fresh Lime Juice
METHOD:
Prepare your coupe glass with a salted rim. All ingredients into cocktail shaker, top with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Fine strain into Coupe glass. Garnish with Silver tongue dehydrated Lime wheel.
